We had a lot of fun at Tamari's first birthday! Swimming, bubbles, cake and homemade ice cream. It was totally awesome. I think everyone had a blast.

Fun Saturday with Perenial Springs

Our Fun day at the Aquarium and Coolidge Park with our church started out with 22 people visiting the Aquarium. Then we headed over to Coolidge Park and had a picnic and the kids played in the water. We had a lot of fun and were totally exhausted when we got home Saturday night.

David and Nick in a REAL shark cage!

Touch Tank

A few of the children that went with us (my picture of all the children didn't turn out)
The boys always make me take a picture of them with the sea horse

David finally got one to land on him!!

This picture was taken where you walk under the tank.
I just liked the way it looked when the shark swam over us!

20th post!

This is my 20th post and I am proud of myself for keeping up (kinda) with the blog. We have finished 9 days of school and the boys are doing good. Nick knows all the sight words for 1st grade already and the teacher is searching for something more difficult for him to work on. He made a 100% on his first spelling test. David gets his spelling words on Fridays so he has the weekend to study and if he makes a 90 or over on his spelling pre-test he gets to not have spelling homework for the week and not have to take the test on Friday. David made a 100% on his first pre-test and a 91% on the one he took today. They are both working hard on Accelerated Reader and I know David has taken some AR tests already. Nick will be tested for gifted in September.

The boys went rock hunting with their Papaw yesterday but I didn't get any pictures. I could post an old one a pretend it was yesterday if you want. Then we went looking for Magic Tree House books but alas Wal-mart was all out of ones we did not already own.

Our church, Perenial Springs Baptist, is going to the Tennessee Aquarium this Saturday so I will have new pics on here soon.

Hugs to all and have a good week.

Longest Yard Sale

Today I stopped by the park as part of the longest yard sale is set up there. I had a little money to spend and thought I would see if I could find any jeans for the boys. Well I ended up buying 6 pairs of pants (4 jeans, one camo and one khaki) a pair of Georgia Tech pajamas and a t-shirt. Then I found Merida bread (my favorite) for $1 and powedered donuts too. So I ended up with a loaf of bread and two bags of powdered donuts along with the clothes I found and I only paid $10 for all of it!!!!! I love yard sales! They are awesome. The khaki pants were only a quarter! One of the pairs of jeans were fifty cents but the others were a dollar. Hopefully it will not rain tomorrow and I can get out and find some more good deals!!
