Song Widget

Tracy found a place to upload his music online. It offers widgets so I decided to add it to my blog. The 3rd song, Kathryn's Melody, he wrote for me while we were dating. I love it! It is so beautiful. I have tried for a long time to get it on here and I finally do!!!!

21 weeks!

This little one is so strong already!
Early this morning I could feel our baby kicking and so I put Tracy's hand on my belly.
His eyes got really big because the baby kicked so hard.
Tracy is doing better but still really sore.
He busted open one of the incisions and ended up with some bruising around another.
I told him he would have been feeling a lot better by now if not for the work incident.
He agreed. We are grateful for all your prayers.

ANGER: Warning Ranting ahead

I hate my husband's job and his stupid family that runs that job. HATE I tell you HATE. I am so pissed right now I can hardly see strait. I am so mad I am cussing (and I don't cuss) How selfish and selfseeking these people are who can't even leave a poor guy alone 24 hours after having surgery. I swear if that building blew up I would be HAPPY. I hate what they are doing to my husband and my family. NO work for 2 weeks means 2 weeks not 2 hours DUH. I am so ready to move ANYWHERE else besides here. ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the ranting and raving but I had to get that off my chest.

AWANA grand prix and Tracy's surgery

The boys checking in their cars.

The sign over the track!

Nick won 3rd for design! He designed it himself and painted it himself!
We also had a Chili dinner where everyone brought a pot of chili.
Mrs. Darlene and I won first place on the chili contest!
(You voted by placing money in a bowl by the chili you liked)
We both earned $14.25 for our AWANAs club! (besides the other entries)
On another note, Tracy is doing good! He was not dealing well with the meds they put in his IV but now it is wearing off and he has eaten something and drank some of his unsweet tea. He is feeling well enough to get on his computer. He is talking to some of his friends on there now. It ended up he did have gallstones even though the ultrasound said he didn't. So he was doubly (is that a word?) hurting. Gallbladder that didn't work and he had stones. My poor hubby. Thanks to everyone that prayed for us today. We appreciate it very much.

Tracy's surgery

Tracy went to the surgeon yesterday (Monday) and they are going to take his gallbladder out on Wed of next week(the 25th). Please pray for calm nerves going into the surgery (for me and Tracy) and a quick recovery.

19 Weeks and counting

How your baby's growing:Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.

Tracy

Tracy had to go have a HIDA test to see how his gallbladder was functioning. It is not working right and making him be in a lot of pain and making him feel sick. He goes to the surgeon Monday the 16th to find out when they will do surgery. Please pray for my husband he is so tired of feeling bad and ready for this to all be over. He is worried that they will tell him that when he goes to the surgeon that it will be weeks longer before they can do anything for him. I pray for quick surgery date and quick recovery.

18 Weeks

Head to rump, your baby is approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, although he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.

Oh BOY??

Just a little note about my ultrasound today.

Our little one had it's hands covering itself when we started looking. Everything looks good. The baby is measuring a few days ahead of my due date. The ultrasound lady searched and searched but couldn't see anything because of the way the baby was facing and it kept covering itself. The baby was pressing itself against the placenta and looked like it was trying to fold itself in half. She (the ultrasound tech) thinks it is a boy. After all the moving around and measuring she thinks she saw boy parts. I will try to get my ultrasound pics scanned so I can post them.

Awesomeness

My friend Shea called me the other day and said she had an infant car seat and a pack-n-play for me. They are moving so they wanted us to meet them to pick up the baby stuff. Tracy took the back seat out of my van and we took off to meet them. Bobby and Shea started loading up my van and I was so surprised at all they gave us!!!

The back of my van packed full!
The boppy, baby toys (in the diaper box) and high chair.

The awesome Eddie Bower car seat and stroller along with car seat base!!
